Hot Holding & Keeping Orders Warm
It's important that we keep all orders inside a hot hold whilst waiting for the riders to reduce cold food and ensure we deliver a great customer experience!
Here are our top tips for keeping food hot:
- Don't prepare food too early. If food takes 5 mins to cook, prepare it 5 mins before the driver arrival time on your ticket.
- Make sure you wrap all burgers and put them in the boxes.
- Put cold drinks & frozen desserts in another bag before placing next to hot food.
- Keep all food orders warm using a heat lamp/hot box.
- Only hand orders to riders if they have a thermal bag with them.
- You can refuse to hand the order over if they don't have a bag with them.
