How do I use my Sessions Tablet?

This article will explain how to use your Sessions Tablet.

Login & Usage

Your tablet is pre-assigned to your venue - there’s no need to log in. Orders and corresponding tickets are accepted and printed automatically. Your culinary trainer will ensure everything is working correctly on your launch day.

To keep things running smoothly:

  • Always keep the Tablet plugged in

  • Go to Settings > Display > Sleep and set it to Never so the screen stays on


WiFi Connection

Your WiFi connection is managed through the Tablet settings, not the Sessions Serve app.

If your tablet isn’t receiving orders:

  • Check your internet connection in Settings > Network

  • Reconnect to your WiFi if needed

  • Still having issues? Contact Support via the chat bubble in the bottom-right corner of your Serve dashboard


Replacing the Printer Paper

The Serve tablet uses thermal printer paper rolls. To replace:

  1. Flip open the orange printer case

  2. Insert the paper roll into the top of the terminal

    • Make sure the loose end of the paper faces upward

  3. Close the orange printer case securely

  4. Test by printing a recent order from the tablet

If nothing prints, check for:

  • Paper inserted upside-down

  • Low battery or loose connection

  • Error messages on screen
