Step-by-Step Cleaning Process
1. Preparation
Wear Gloves.
Place Wet Floor Sign: Before entering.
Ensure bathroom is empty: Politely wait if occupied.
2. General Surface Cleaning
Empty bin: Replace liner, wipe bin inside/out with disinfectant.
Clean sink and countertop:
Use blue cloth + disinfectant spray.
Scrub faucets, soap dispensers, and counters.
Clean mirror:
Use glass cleaner and clean cloth or paper towel.
Wipe walls and door handles:
Pay attention to high-touch surfaces (door push plates, locks, taps).
3. Toilet & Urinal Cleaning (Use Red Cloths Only)
For each toilet/urinal:
Flush before cleaning.
Apply toilet bowl cleaner inside the bowl and under the rim.
Scrub with toilet brush – let it sit for recommended contact time.
Spray exterior (seat, lid, base) with BS EN 1276 disinfectant.
Wipe clean and dry using red disposable cloth.
Wipe flush handle/button.
📌 Use separate cloths for each toilet to avoid cross-contamination.
4. Floors
Sweep debris and litter.
Mop with floor disinfectant, paying extra attention to corners and under sinks.
Leave wet floor sign until fully dry.
5. Restock & Reset
Toilet paper
Paper towels
Soap dispenser (top up, don’t refill over dirt)
Air freshener (if used)
Check that lights, locks, flushes, taps all work.
