What is changing?
The Sessions Beef Mince is changing Bidfood code and pack size, moving from a 20KG case to a 16KG case.
Old: Code 30103 | SESSIONS HALAL CHUCK BEEF MINCE | 10 x 2KG / 20KG | £173.12 | 118 burgers per case
New: Code 23830 | SESSION HALAL BEEF MINCE | 8 x 2KG / 16KG | £157.14 | 94 burgers per case
Why are we changing?
The current mince has not consistently met the quality standard we expect. The new product is a tried and tested blend that delivers a more juicy and tender patty, and we're confident it's a genuine improvement.
What will be different?
Customers should notice a more juicy and tender patty. Chefs may find the mince easier to form, and the patties will have a bit more resistance when being smashed.

What about pricing?
The case price drops to £157.14, but the per-KG cost does increase from £8.66 to £9.82. This reflects the move to a higher quality product. We will continue to review our sourcing to keep pricing as competitive as we can.
What do I need to do?
All depots have switched to the new beef mince, please update your orders to code 23830, SESSIONS HALAL BEEF MINCE 8X2KG. If you still have old stock on site, use that up first. Once it's gone, the new code will be the only one available.
