How to Check Your Menu Status

This article will guide you through the steps to check your menu is live if you have any concerns.

⭐️ It is a misconception that the support team can manually republish your menu to "boost" your brand or push it to the top of customer feeds. In reality, menus are updated automatically and they may only need to be published if you notice an issue.

If you suspect your brand isn't appearing correctly, here is how to perform a quick "health check" on the delivery apps.

💡Don’t be discouraged by a quiet morning! It’s perfectly normal for orders to start slow and build toward a peak at dinner time. If you notice low sales, it doesn't mean your menu isn't live, it might just be due to consumer preferences!

To see exactly what your customers see, follow these steps:

  1. Set Your Location: Open the Deliveroo, Just Eat, or Uber Eats app and set the delivery address to your exact site address.

  2. Search Your Brand: Search for your menu. Because you are on-site, the store should appear as 0.0 miles away.

  3. View the Menu: Click into the brand to ensure there are no "Currently Closed" or "Not taking orders" banners visible.

  4. Test the Basket: Try adding a few items to your basket. This confirms that your items are available for purchase and haven't been accidentally marked as out of stock.

Troubleshooting "Closed" Stores

If the app shows you as closed during your peak service times, don’t worry—it’s usually a quick fix.

  • Check Your Dashboard: First, verify that your Delivery Opening Hours are set correctly in your dashboard settings.

  • Driver Network Issues: Sometimes the platforms may temporarily offline your menus if there is poor driver supply in your area. This tends to happen due to bad weather, or late night dips in rider supply. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to help in this instance, but you can always call the delivery platforms live help numbers if you are unsure.

  • Contact Support: If your hours are correct but your site is still showing as closed, you can reach out to the support team to investigate the issue further.
